Brooks Boats was a company located in Saginaw, Michigan, that produced kits for wood boats and canoes. In 1912, they offered two kits for wood & canvas canoes; a 15' x 30" x 12" model and a 16' x 33" x 13" model. It appears the kits were for "true" wood" canvas construction, i.e. wide ribs and fully planked, rather than the common kit form of canvas stretched over stringers. |
